How to prepare the file

Spec sheet for your designer or print shop

What file we need

To produce it, a vector file: PDF, AI, EPS or SVG, with the text converted to outlines and the images embedded. Maximum 5 MB. For the mock-up in this preview a PNG with a transparent background or an SVG is enough; a high-resolution JPG also works, but the vector file gives a better result.

Printable area

The belt is 48 mm high. We leave 4 mm of margin top and bottom, so the usable area is 40 mm. Along its length, 3000 mm on the 3 m belt and 4000 mm on the 4 m one. The first 100 mm stay wound inside the cassette: do not put anything there that has to be read.

The two sides

We print both sides at no extra cost, and they can carry different designs. The sublimation press prints both at the same time: if the graphics fall in the same position they can show through. That is why the smart layout keeps 3 cm of clearance between what is on one side and what is on the other.

Colour

Sublimation onto polyester belt. Send the colours in CMYK or with their Pantone reference; the result can vary from what you see on screen, especially in fluorescents and metallics. The belt background colour is a solid colour from our colour chart: that one is not printed.

What happens next

We check the file and send you the digital proof free of charge within 48 working hours. We produce nothing until you approve it in writing.
